GENESIS & ADULT GENESIS – IBO 3D

The International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) recognizes the importance of families enjoying archery together. The IBO was the first archery organization to create a Genesis class for 3D archery at all IBO events.

Later, the IBO introduced the Adult Genesis class, allowing parents and adults to compete alongside youth using the same equipment. This gives families the opportunity to enjoy IBO 3D archery together in a fun, competitive setting.

Why the IBO Created These Classes

IBO Genesis and Adult Genesis classes were designed to:

  • Make competitive 3D archery more accessible

Genesis Class (Youth)

Adult Genesis Class

THE IBO 3D CHALLENGE (6 Target)

The IBO created the IBO 3D Challenge in 2014, originally as a school-based program. That same competitive format has expanded beyond schools and is now available to anyone with the proper equipment and range layout.

The IBO continues to host multiple stand-alone IBO 3D Challenge events, including:

  • IBO Outdoor National 3D Challenge

  • IBO Outdoor World 3D Challenge

Who Can Participate?
